Sea trout and sea louse management workshop

9:30am to 12:15 pm

 

This informal workshop has been organised in collaboration with the Atlantic Salmon Trust to provide an opportunity to review and discuss some of the latest science in relation to sea trout fisheries and sea lice, including the results of wild fish monitoring in local waters in 2013, and developments in sea louse management on salmon farms.

 

We anticipate welcoming Prof Mark Costello (University of Aukland) together with Prof Ken Whelan and Tony Andrews (Atlantic Salmon Trust) to Wester Ross; and look forward to comparing our recent experiences and observations within the Wester Ross area with those in other areas.

 

The workshop is intended primarily for those with a practical interest in sea trout fisheries and sea louse management including fisheries proprietors and managers and fish farmers, and any others who are interested in learning more. All welcome.
