WRFT Review July 2013

The latest WRFT annual review can be found on the downloads page of this website or by clicking here. The review provides a summary of juvenile fish surveys in 2012, rod catches, the Tournaig trap project, a brief review of sea trout monitoring (reported more fully in the WRFT 2012 sea trout monitoring report [too much to include in the review]), other work relating to the marine environment, and other activities carried out or supported by Wester Ross Fisheries Trust towards the restoration and protection of  wild fisheries in the Wester Ross area over the past year. As always, there are lots of photos and illustrations.

Thank you to everyone who helped, from the volunteers who carried buckets, pulled the sweep net or provided other practical hands on assistance, to those who provided much needed funding.

We are currently mid-way through another field season, with the usual interesting mix of challenges and discoveries. As always there are many opportunities for helping out if you would like to join in.

Please contact the WRFT biologist on if you have any comments on the review or any of our other work.
