Processing the sweep net catch from Boor Bay by Poolewe

With funding from the Scottish Government via the Tripartite Working Group, WRFT has been carrying out sweep netting sampling for sea trout in lochs Ewe, Gairloch, Carron and Torridon. Sweep netting is a new activity for the WRFT and success at catching fish has been mixed. Sites in Lochs Broom, Little Loch Broom and Loch Alsh have been sampled by TWG Regional Develpment Officer, Ailsa McLellan. Results have been forwarded to local area management groups and to the TWG.
